How do you choose your seat on public transit (bus, train/subway, streetcar)?

I'll take any open seat, I don't mind sitting next to people.
I try and sit as far away from other people as I can (or stand if it's busy!).
I usually sit in the back - at least one seat between me and other people.
I usually sit in the back - I don't mind sitting beside someone.
I usually sit in the front - at least one seat between me and other people.
I usually sit in the front - I don't mind sitting beside someone.
I don't mind sitting beside someone if I HAVE to, but I would prefer not to.
I usually stand, even if it's not busy.
I don't take public transit.
